James McMahon

Jim started his foodservice career at Illinois Range Company in 1985 drafting plans for McDonald's kitchen remodels and equipment replacement. His experience also includes a position with a consultant firm where he created the KCL CAD library for the foodservice industry, a sheet metal layout in a fabrication shop, a contract sales position with Byczek, and positions with Schweppe & Sons for several years where he served as an engineer, CAD operator, and contract sales professional.

Jim maintains strong relationships with commercial equipment supplier partners, participates in new product training with manufacturers, and stays current with challenges and opportunities in the industry for culinary professionals and upcoming foodservice trends. 

 

Jim was recognized as FE&S Dealer Sales Rep of the Month in 2016 and featured in the Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine. He was honored to be chosen by such a respected industry magazine.

 

Jim loves the outdoors and enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and gardening. He served on a local sportsmen's club board for eighteen years, encompassing 80 acres / 16 acres of lake and 350 members. He has been the board chairman for the last five years.

He is very focused, positive, reliable, and professional. He enjoys helping others and is friendly to everyone he meets.

 

Jim loves to cook and says there's nothing better than a slab of ribs on the smoker.
